Miss D Meteor  Red Arrows Crowd Paul Swift Stunt Zone

Firmly established as one of the UK’s most popular family days out , Dunsfold Wings & Wheels will be returning to the historic setting of Dunsfold Aerodrome (home of BBC’s Top Gear), Guildford, Surrey on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August 2013 for its ninth successive year. Wowing crowds of over 30,000 in 2012 with an outstanding variety of dynamic aviation and motoring displays, iconic cars, shopping and arena attractions, the airshow has helped raise some £280,000 for charity to date.

Visitors to Dunsfold Aerodrome are treated to breathtaking 5 hour air displays which have previously included favourites; The Red Arrows, BBMF, The Blades, Team Breitling Wingwalkers and the Avro Vulcan, accompanied by witty and knowledgeable commentary from aviation experts and display pilots. The ‘Wings’ of the event would not be complete without an exhibition of all the weekends visiting aircraft and Dunsfold’s resident Boeing 747 – most famously seen in Casino Royale.

The ‘Wheels’ is a heady mix of thrilling stunts, interactive parades and an adrenaline pumping 2 hour motoring demonstration which blasts down the main runway and includes an eclectic mix of modern day supercars to classic and vintage favourites. The Stunt Zone not only has fast action figure of eights, entwined donuts, a battle competition and rally driving drift display, but hosts gravity defying demonstrations of balance, back flips and somersaults in some hair raising pyrotechnic stunt performances proving two wheels are just as dramatic as four!

The show Arena is 32 acres packed with something to do for all the family. The Hot Rod Zone is a stunning display of nostalgic and 'kustom' Hot Rod vehicles, vintage trade and themed catering outlets accompanied by live rockabilly music. The 1940s Zone holds Jive master classes every hour, re-enactment groups and authentic shopping. The Arena also includes Wings & Wheels favourites; aviation and motoring simulators, children’s inflatable’s, a fairground, military outlets, interactive car shows and a retail village with over 80 stands selling a wide variety of products and gifts.

So, whether a wide-eyed first timer, a seasoned veteran, aviation buff or motoring enthusiast the Wings & Wheels experience will leave you breathless!
