Volunteers |
Wings & Wheels is mainly staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers (now over 500) who come together in August to be a part of a unique airshow whilst helping raise money for deserving charities. Volunteers are involved in many aspects of the show; from greeting military aircrew on arrival, helping the general public with queries to selling programmes and marshalling motoring demonstrations. Each volunteer is asked to do a minimum of three hours between 8am and 7pm. In their free time we encourage volunteers to enjoy the air and motoring shows with unlimited access to the public arena. Through their tremendous efforts Wings & Wheels has been able to distribute more than £250,000 to charities to date. In 2012 we are looking for volunteers to fulfil the following roles:
