Wings & Wheels Statement 3

We take the safety arrangements for Wings & Wheels very seriously and will be immediately implementing the new restrictions announced today (24th August 2015) by the Civil Aviation Authority. The aviation line-up is currently under review and any changes to the show will be announced shortly.
The Civil Aviation Authority safety standards that must be met by all major civil air displays in the UK are among the very highest in the world. The air show itself has to meet rigorous safety standards that are laid down by the CAA who review these on an ongoing basis. All air display arrangements, including the pilots and aircraft, must meet rigorous safety requirements and are regularly reviewed to ensure they provide the highest possible levels of protection.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those involved in the tragic events at Shoreham on Saturday 22nd August and a minutes silence at the start of the air displays at 11:30 on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August will be held in remembrance.
